Duke-NUS


During my traineeship at Duke-NUS Medical School, I assisted in the writing/editing of articles, and management of the quarterly magazine MEDICUS and weekly newsletter Duke-NUSe. I have also conducted interviews with researchers for various articles and projects, and written and edited press releases and op-eds for media. I was also tasked with managing a large-scale filming project of several of the labs and facilities there.

MEDICUS

MEDICUS (ISSN: 27375226) is a magazine produced by Duke-NUS Communications. During my internship, I contributed to two feature articles, news articles as well as the start of a new segment titled "Ask MEDICUS." In the process, I interviewed Professor Joshua Gooley and his mentors, Duke-NUS alumni in various fields of medical work, disseminated "Ask MEDICUS" questions to our faculty to answer burning medical questions, and endeavoured to provide accurate and understandable scientific news.
